This past weekend, we attended one of the craziest and most star studded parties for the launch of the new Doppler Social App.
The actual party took place at The Avenue in Hollywood across the street from the Dream Hotel and the energy was electric. For a split second, it felt as though old Hollywood had crash collided with the millennial generation.
Between the mass amount of Influencers and stunningly beautiful people in attendance, we found ourselves wondering (ok more so hoping) that most of them were on the Doppler Social dating app themselves.
As with apps like Tinder and Bumble, people tend to match and then talk for a while before coming up with a seemingly endless stream of excuses to not actually meet up. It’s not always because they don’t want to meet… more so because they don’t know where to go or what to do for their first meet up.
That’s where Doppler comes in.
The app is basically designed to match up people based off of events nearby their location(s) that they can then attend together.
“Doppler Social App connects people through shared interests of trending venues and events, focusing on current and future locations.”
What does this mean for the future of dating apps? Hopefully it means more dating.

Trending All Day’s own founders had an amazing time at the event, and half of the people in our office have already downloaded Doppler for themselves to try it out.
If you find one of us on there, don’t be afraid to say hi! We don’t bite, unless you’re into that kind of thing.
Thanks so much for having us Doppler, and to everyone else, don’t forget to download the Doppler Social App right here!
