The rapper Kodak Black is the latest in a string of high profile sexual assault charges that have ripped through the news in the past week.
A South Carolina grand jury has indicted Kodak Black on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct following the November incident that first brought about the allegations where he reportedly attacked a teenage girl at a hotel after one of his concerts. If convicted, Kodak could face 30 years in prison.
The rapper is prevented from commenting on the pending case but Beattie Ashmore, his attorney, told Billboard, “I am aware of the indictment and it was expected as part of the normal process of the pending case.”
Twitter is already weighing in on the matter:
maan theres so much smoke coming from this dude, lock him up! isnt this the 2nd or 3rd sexual conduct?
