It’s #WorldMentalHealthDay so I want to remind you… you are not crazy, you are not dramatic, you are not stupid, you are not worthless, & most importantly YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Truthfully, it’s an ever evolving conversation that comes even more into play when combined with talks about the effects of social media. People have also spoken up about the hate comments on YouTube as well as Instagram, and the body image issues that can come up when specifically discussing the pressures of maintaining an image on certain platforms.
But to counter that, social media has also allowed for a much more open dialogue about mental health as well. People have found a community within the digital world, and on days like today, it’s especially nice to see a trending hashtag entirely dedicated to openly talking it.
