Remember 2015? A simpler time. Celebrities were celebrities, politicians were politicians, and a time traveling hipster called Max Caulfield was delighting gamers in Dontnod’s second game, Life is Strange. Much of the charm of the original Life is Strange game came from the feisty performance of Ashly Burch, star of gamer series Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin’?, as punky sidekick Chloe Price.
Sadly, due to a labor dispute involving Burch’s union, SAG-AFTRA, she was unavailable to voice Chloe in the prequel, Life is Strange: Before the Storm. However, after terms were agreed upon and finalized in early November, Burch has signed up to voice Chloe one last time for a bonus episode of Before the Storm, which will also see the return of Max’s voice actor, Hannah Telle!
I am so so so beyond excited to announce that I’m reprising my role as Chloe Price in the Life is Strange Before the Storm bonus episode, “Farewell”! https://t.co/Bb8sXGyRtA

You can watch them talk about their excitement to be reprising their roles in this behind the scenes feature on the game’s YouTube channel down below. It’s honestly kinda adorable how much their relationship mirrors their characters’. Farewell, the bonus update to Life is Strange: Beyond the Storm, will be available in early 2018. Episode 3: Hell is Empty, is still awaiting a release date.
