Tyler Oakley has just launched the first episode of his LGBTQ+ series “Chosen Family.”
The first episode features special guest Gus Kenworthy. In the video, Gus talks about what his experience was like when he came out to friends and family and encourages community members who haven’t yet come out to find their voice and express themselves by coming out to a trusted confidant because “it does get better.”
In case you aren’t familiar, Gus is an Olympic medalist in freestyle skiing and hails from Colorado. He first came out publicly in 2015 via an ESPN feature.
