Photography from 490tx lined the walls of the venue as musical acts ¿Téo? and Jaden Smith performed for guests at MSFTS first meetup.
Trending All Day was exclusively invited to the first LA based art showcase put on by the talented Moises Arias aka 490tx. This was also the first official MSFTS meet-up in Los Angeles and it featured performances from founder and rapper Jaden Smith as well as Moises’s brother and music sensation ¿Téo?.
Although longtime fans may know the featured photographer as actor Moises Arias, he’s produced his artwork under his alias 490tx. The numbers in his name refer to his preferred choice of film to shoot with, which is 400 Tri-X. The 49 holds significance because it was passed down to him from older generations in his family.
His art is well know for the candid shots of some of the most high-profile celebrities. Looking at his photos almost makes viewers feel as though they’ve been given exclusive access to private pictures from a family album. The photos on display are apart of his series titled ‘TEENS and feature well-known pop culture icons. He’s captured Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Tyler the Creator, Will.i.am, ¿Téo?, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Sofia Richie, Simi Haze, Hailey Baldwin, Jordyn Woods, and Miley Cyrus on film.
His brother ¿Téo? came to support and also took the stage to perform “Uno Dos“ with Jaden Smith. ¿Téo? debuted the song and the accompanying music video in October 2017. The singer was praised for his ability to accurately bring the story “Uno Dos” tells to life in the cinematic video.
Jaden has also been busy with the release of his latest project “The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story.” He delivered two music videos from the critically acclaimed mixtape back to back for songs “Plastic“ and “Goku“ prior to the event. Fans who missed this first Los Angeles installment will be pleased to know that another show is in the works.
