Drake held his annual 2017 OVO Fest in his hometown of Toronto this past Monday and it totally smashed with the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, Nelly, The Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem gracing the stage while still featuring plenty of newer stars performed as well, including Cardi B, Rae Sremmurd, Migos, Baka Not Nice, Travis Scott, French Montana, Playboi Carti, and PartyNextDoor. Many of the performances, such as Cardi Be and The Weeknd, were surprises to fans in attendance.
The stage was insane, featuring a replica of the CN 2 Tower, which he performed atop of, mirroring his album cover for Views:

Drake gave Cardi some words of encouragement backstage, telling the hip-hop artist “I’m proud of you,” before she took the stage:
And then he brought her out for the big reveal to the audience, where she went into a performance of Bodak Yellow:
Drake proclaimed during the event, “this is my favorite night of the year” and we can see why. He then closed out the event by announcing that he is working on a new album.
