Influencers Attend The Los Angeles Aladdin Premiere!!

With Aladdin’s release date of May 24th quickly approaching, movie-lovers were hyped to see Will Smith as the lead role.

The movie remakes the original 1992 animated film, bringing both nostalgia and warmth as many of us take a trip down memory lane. “A Whole New World” in 2019? Yes please.

On Tuesday evening (May 21), the red carpet premiere took place at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Only it wasn’t a red carpet — it was purple!

The theme was all things Aladdin, bringing to life the livelihood of the movie, getting fans excited for the movie’s debut. Of course, Will Smith’s entire family showed up, including Jada Pinkett Smith dressed in a royal blue — presumably inspired by hubby’s character as the Genie. The gemmed-out crop top and matching wide-legged pants was paired with silver heels, and icey jewelry to match.

This was a full-blown family affair, as children Willow (18), Jaden (20), and Trey (26) were in posted on the magical purple carpet. Will also proceeded to shower is wifey with kisses as they stopped to pose for photographers.

Last week, the film released a clip of Will singing the classic “Prince Ali” song from the original 1992 film, eventually turning into Aladdin into a prince to help him when over Princess Jasmine, played by Naomi Scott.

Mirroring the scene from the original movie, Aladdin says to Jasmine: “You should see these places. I mean, there’s a whole world outside of books and maps. Do you want to?”

Mena Massoud plays Aladdin, describing working with Will as “a dream come true.”
