Their latest music video for “Fake Love” has won the 2018 record for most-viewed YouTube video within 24 hours. In the first hour, it had already hit nearly 5 million views, clocking in with 35.9 million views in the first day.
The intense and cinematic music video is the third largest 24-hour video debut of all time. T-Swift has first place with “Look What You Made Me Do” (43.2 MILLION views), with Psy’s “Gentleman” coming in second with 36 million.
The records don’t stop there- “Fake Love” has also set the record for most thumbs up on a YouTube video in a single day, with 3.9 million likes. This beats the previous records of 2.3 million likes, a record held by BTS on both “DNA” and “MIC drop”.
