After her line of plush toys that she released last year flew off the shelves, she’s branching out into new industries!
Lauren Riihimaki is on her way to becoming the next Martha Stewart according to WWD. She’s cooking up craft kits, jewelry, and a swimwear line! This new product launch is so big that Lauren is referring it to as “LaurDIYDrop.” The 24-year-old will be unveiling top-of-the-line products from her collections from now until October. She’s collaborated with some pretty well-known brands in beauty and fashion.
Lauren hooked up with jewelry company Pura Vida to create a line of blingy bracelets. If you’re a fan of “LaurDIY” then you’ve seen her show off the company’s merch before via Instagram. She’s also got a collab with fashion brand Ardene that includes sweats, joggers, and hoodies.
Lauren’s come a long way from her first Youtube video where the college freshman showed us how to tie-dye, knit and rock hand-made festival gear.
She’s a go-getter building an empire and her 8.2 million Youtube subscribers agree!
“I’ve really been trying to build a brand,” Riihimaki told WWD. “I want this to be the millennial Martha Stewart.”
She’s still that same adorable girl from Toronto and her new products will reflect her infectious personality. Make sure you cop her merch from Joann Fabric and Crafts, Michaels, Target, Hobby Lobby and Walmart before its all gone!
