We hope that everyone had a fun and safe Halloween, but if we had to pick one of our favorite costumes we saw from the weekend until now, it would actually be Fat Sal’s– yes, the restaurant.
But how can a restaurant have a costume? Well let us tell you.
Fat Sal’s acted as a half Halloween themed/half pop-up shop when they transformed into a real like McDowell’s.
The McDonald’s knockoff from the 1988 movie, Coming to America, featured actual meals from the film like the Big Mick, Zamunda Fries and the Sexual Chocolate Shake.
Unfortunately, it’s looking like they only had the pop up going on for two days– October 30th and October 31st, so you know, we kinda missed it.
But at least we can live vicariously through all the Instagram posts from the people who were there, right? Speaking of people who were there, comedian Juhahn Jones stepped out for the event and made sure to dress up to match the theme.
The line was out the door to grab a bite to eat at ‘McDowell’s’ but there has been no official word yet on whether or not they plan on doing another pop up like this one again any time soon.
We hope everyone who got to go had a great time!
