Former Magcon boy Nash Grier has been taking a more artistic approach to his YouTube channel since it’s recent relaunch and we are here for it.
Two months ago, Nash unveiled his new channel look, and in the process, removed all old videos that he had posted since the channel’s initial launch in 2012. He’s only posted 9 videos in these 2 months, averaging about one post a week, but today’s release total impresses us.
Nash posted a nearly 2-hour long video of a roaring fire, and simply titled it “Relax 3” (previously, he released videos in a similar theme, with the short “Relax 1” featuring the Milky Way and a “Relax 2” featuring the Malibu oceanline).
This time, the fire is layered with calming music by Nash and Jack Johnson, and we’ve gotta say- it’s totally relaxing and lives up to it’s name.
Nash described the video as “The control of fire by early humans was a turning point in the cultural aspect of human evolution. Fire provided a source of warmth, protection, and a method for cooking food. These cultural advancements allowed for human geographic dispersal, cultural innovations, and changes to diet & behavior. Additionally, creating fire allowed the expansion of human activity to proceed into the dark and colder hours of the morning.”
If this video is any indication of what else might come out of his channel, we are eager to see what’s next.
