Three YouTubers From The Collective ‘High On Life’ Have Passed Away In A Waterfall Accident

Extremely sad news has broken that three YouTubers from the travel blogging collective ‘High On Life’ have died after falling over a waterfall near Squamish, British Columbia.

Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper went on another hiking trip to Shannon Falls and sadly never came back. The three bodies were found Tuesday. Gamble’s family were the first to confirm his body, the families of the other two have not spoken publicly.

All three adventurers were childhood friends from Vancouver who “Wanted everyone to live their best lives” said a friend of the group. Police says that the trio were swimming at the top of the falls when they “slipped and fell into a pool 98ft below.” The water might’ve been a bit more agitated also due to the high temperatures this week.

Today, the other members of the High On Life YouTube collective posted an emotional video telling fans that they will continue to honor their friends by continuing their adventurous journeys. “They were three of the warmest, kindest and most driven and outgoing people you could ever meet.”

The group was formed by Gamble, his girlfriend Lyakh and childhood friend Parker Heuser after they traveled the world in 2012. High On Life was based out of Vancouver with more than 500k subscribers on YouTube and 1 million followers on Instagram.
