Fullscreen is now streaming the Australian show ‘High Life’ starring Odessa Young, and thank your lucky stars this beam of light is streaming in America. The six part series tackles bi-polar disorder in a beautiful way, facing it head-on, while attempting to visualize what occurs in the bi-polar brain. The trailer alone is stunning.
Seventeen-year-old Genevieve is experiencing bi-polar disorder for the first time. In a statement to The Fix about the show, Young says:
“A lot of media about bipolar disorder treats this illness like it’s the end of the world. It’s about time that we’re able to say that this illness is not the end of someone’s life.”
The show is a ten out of ten likes masterpiece (that we expect to see winning some awards in the future). Fullscreen has been dropping excellent content of late, justifying the subscription fee, and making our content-loving hearts happy.
