New York Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis has great range on the court, but no one ever knew he was so suave on social media. When Instagram model Abigail Ratchford posted a picture, it incited a flirtatious banter between the two, including a set of eyeball emojis and lips.
So when Croation model Ines Nikic caught the NBA star’s eye, he tried his social media charm once again…but he wasn’t so successful. Kristap commented on one of Ines’ photos with a heart-eyes emoji, but was quickly shot down by spectators who let him know “she is 1999” referring to her being 17 or 18.
Nikic joined in on the fun, deciding to post a photo with this comment:
The comment roughly translates to “Are you sleeping peacefully, Kristaps Porzingis?”
It looks like Kristap will have to work on his game play over social media. Basketball doesn’t always translate very well now does it?
