When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
“I wanted to be a veterinarian! I’m definitely not cut out to be any kind of doctor, though. I’m a little squeamish. I just love animals so that’s probably why I thought that’d be a good idea!”
What’s one thing you are super passionate about, that most people don’t know?
“I love to write. I journal and write poetry. I’m also passionate about food, but who isn’t? I have over 500 bookmarks on Yelp. I love the trying popular dishes at restaurants!”
If you could be anyone for a day (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
“I think I’d want to be Oprah’s non-existent daughter. I’d follow her everywhere and take lots of notes. I love her.”
Single or taken?! What’s your #1 turn on? What’s your #1 turn off?
“Haha, I am taken! My number one turn on is thoughtfulness. My number one turn OFF is arrogance!”
Where did the idea for “Pizza and Chill” come from?!
“Well, ever since I was on the show Guy Code I received literally hundreds of questions on my Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook asking for dating advice. I had no idea so many people were interested in my perspective on the topic. I am by no means an expert, but I thought it’d be fun to answer the questions in a book!”
What were a few of the toughest things to write about in your book? What did you learn most from writing your first book?
“I didn’t find it hard to discuss anything in particular but I did feel unfamiliar with sharing my personal anecdotes. I never really talk about that stuff but it was so fun to finally open up!”
What’s next for Lisa? What can your fans expect in the upcoming future?
“More books I hope! I love writing and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to publish a book. It’s crazy! I just got my author copies this week and I couldn’t believe I was holding them in my hand!”
