What’s one thing you are super passionate about, that most people don’t know? 

“Spirituality. It’s very fulfilling for me when I’m allowed to connect with people on a higher vibrating platform. I love and am totally obsessed with what I get to do for a living; it gives me a foundation to really change people from the inside out.”

Have you always wanted to be a stylist? How did you get to where you are today?

“YES. I’ve been rearranging things since I was a little girl. I loved the feeling that clothing gave me; from being able to pretend that you are someone else like a costume or just being able to further express yourself. I always loved how clothing could take a visual to the next level or help paint a clearer picture for sound.”

“Well, it wasn’t easy. There were definitely a lot of bumps in the road, but I think the major thing that got me here today was God and the example of my mother, who was a woman that tucked her fears away in order to provide for her family and lead by example. The thought of making my mother proud was greater than any fear or obstacle that presented itself.”

You’re stranded on an island what’s 3 things you cant live without?  

“My phone, my brother, and my best friend.”

What’s one of the most memorable experiences you’ve had styling? Why? 

“I’ve had so many experiences that are memorable for me, I can’t pick just one. Every one has been special in their own way because they were all different versions of my dreams coming true; from the director’s to the different artists, to the beautiful locations - every single one played its part in allowing me to leave my stamp.”

What’s next for Brookelyn?! What can your fans expect in the near future?

“Definitely more collaborations with different artists. There is so much in the works right now. I’ll be starting up my agency where I’ll be housing creative directors, stylists, directors, make-up artists, designers and producers as well as developing my own clothing line, it will range from the concrete jungles all the way to runways in Paris.”
